Each Fund of the Jewish Foundation has a unique name. You may refer to the annual report for examples. Click here to view.  Every time a grant is sent from the Foundation on your behalf it will carry the name of your fund.

Advisors to Your Fund:

You and those you choose are permitted to make recommendations to the board of directors of the Jewish Foundation of Memphis regarding the use of your Fund.  This includes investment and grant recommendations.

Successor Advisors:

Fund advisors are given the right to name Successor Advisors who will be permitted to make recommendations to the board of directors of the Jewish Foundation regarding the use of the Fund at the death of the original advisors. Most fund holders name their children, siblings or a particular organization as the Sussessor Advisor(s) to their fund.

Amount of Initial Gift:

Minimum gift is $4,000 for first ten new funds opened. Minimum gift is $5,000 thereafter.
