Through the B'nai Tzedek Co-op fund, our teens have the opportunity to join together in a dynamic, engaging process of allocating money to worthy programs within the Memphis Jewish community. This process, independent of individual grant distributions, takes place two times a year.   The teens meet to review proposals, make site visits and allocate funds from a limited pool of assets contributed by program sponsors.

Through this process B'nai Tzedek teens learn the challenges of working as a community, building  consensus and having limited funds to distribute to worthy organizations.

This process provides an opportunity for our teens to keep up with friends, learn about the needs of the community, understand how philanthropy works, and make a difference.
